To create a new stream, go to the «Streams» section in the left menu.

Click the «Create stream» button in the upper right corner.

In the new window, set the parameters for the stream:

  • «Title» - Title of the stream.

  • «Description» - Create a coherent and understandable description of your stream (optional).

  • «Tags» - You can pick or create must be selected from the existing ones (for more details about tags, see here).

  • «Add to Products» - Connect your stream to a product. (On how to create products, read here)

  • «Player publish date» - when the player will appear on your OTT and be visible to a user.

  • «Broadcast start at» - Planned starting date of the broadcast (shows information about the starting date and time in the player). Stream on Sprintty will start automatically at that time when you send the transmission. If you send the transmission before the date, the user will not see it. It's a good chance to test the stream.

  • «Sport» - Type of sport (to be displayed in thematic sections of your site).

  • «Widget» - Apply a special widget for the stream or use the default one (to learn more about widgets, see here).

  • «Country Access template» Set up the availability of the stream in certain countries and partner sites (for more information on setting it up, see here).

  • «Upload preview» Upload a preview of the stream.

Let's also learn what those toggles do.

  • Access only for those who have the link: The video will be available only via a link, the user will not be able to find it on the website

  • Enable chat - This option turns on/off the chat on the stream.

  • Enable stream record: The stream will be automatically recorded and added to the Video section.

  • Automatically publish stream record: stream record will be automatically published on your site.

  • Automatically publish a collection with the best moments: while there is an ongoing broadcast you can cut short clips in the Studio tab of the Stream Card. After the stream ends they will be published on your OTT.

  • Available for registered users only: A user needs to sign up in order to view content.

❔ You can enable recording of the broadcast for further publication on your OTT. If you have several sources in one stream, they will be recorded separately as different video files.

Additionally, you can set the delay time in which your stream will be available to viewers.

Once created, the restream point will be automatically activated and when a stream appears on Sprintty, it will be automatically relayed to the specified server.

Enabling/Disabling restreaming is done with a special button next to the title of the restream point.

The «Status» field displays the current Online/Offline restream status.
