Stream entrypoints
Updated over a week ago

πŸ’‘ in a video streaming service, the "stream entry point" is a non-expiring KEY that your device uses to send its video stream to the streaming server. To put it simply, the "stream entry point" is your permanent link for streaming.

❕ This option is turned off by default, but you can write us to enable it on your account.

To create entrypoint proceed to the corresponding menu. Click Create Entrypoint, name it, generate the stream key, and save.

After creating an entrypoint you will unlock this new option in the Broadcast section of Stream Card.

There are two options how to receive stream:

A pull-stream is a stream where the movement of data is initiated by the sink, and a push-stream is a stream where the movement of data is initiated by the source.
