Tag Card Component

Updated yesterday

Tag Cards — a visual way to showcase tags using an image, title, and description. This feature works even if the tag is not linked to a custom page.
✅ What is it?

A Tag Card is a visual block you can insert into any page.

It includes:

  • Tag title

  • Cover image

  • Description

When inserted into a page, it visually highlights the tag and gives users context — like a mini promo block.

📌 Note: You can use Tag Cards without linking to a custom page.

🔧 How to Use It

1. Create a Tag

  • Go to Content → Tags

  • Click “New Tag” or edit an existing one

  • Fill in:

    • Tag Title

    • Description (shown in the card)

    • Cover Image (this will appear as the card thumbnail)

📌 Leave the “Custom Page” field empty — it’s optional.

2. Insert the Tag Card into a Page

  • Go to Appearance → Pages

  • Open the page where you want to display the card (e.g. homepage or promo page)

  • In the editor, add the Tag Card Component

  • Choose the tag from the list

  • Save

That’s it! The card will show the tag’s image, title, and description — without requiring a linked page.

💡 Example Use Case

You’re running multiple themes like:

  • 🎥 Documentaries

  • 🥋 Martial Arts

  • 🧘 Wellness

You don’t need full pages for each.
You just want to promote them visually on the homepage.
Use Tag Cards for each — quick, beautiful, and no coding needed.

🚀 Pro Tip

Later, if you decide to add a full custom page for a tag — you can link it anytime.
The same Tag Card will then become clickable automatically.
