We’re excited to announce a new feature: Vertical Covers for Videos.
This feature allows you to upload and display portrait-style (2:3) video covers in addition to the standard landscape (16:9) format. Vertical covers are ideal for mobile-first viewing, making your video library more engaging and visually appealing.
How to Upload a Vertical Cover
Go to Content → Videos and select the video you want to edit.
In the Edit Video window, you’ll see two options for previews:
16:9 (Landscape) – standard preview format
2:3 (Portrait) – vertical preview format
Click on the Upload Preview area under the 2:3 (Portrait) option.
Upload your vertical cover image.
Save your changes.
How to Enable Vertical Covers
Once you’ve uploaded your vertical covers, you’ll need to enable them in your Appearance settings so they display on your pages.
Go to Appearance → Pages in your admin panel.
Select the page that contains your Video Carousel.
Click Edit component on the carousel.
In the settings, add the filter Portrait under the Tags section.
Save your changes.
Now, your video carousel will display vertical covers where available.
